Next day, at the teahouse
Ann: I admit. I really needed to take a break from studying.
Ian: What did you say to Wen Changjun when you were praying?
Ann: I said, “Help me!”[looks at menu] Hmm, what to order?
Ian: Try the salmon. They cook it in baozhong tea.
Ann: Baozhong! That's exactly what I need. Don't Americans consider fish to be brain food?
Ian: Yep. My mother used to make me eat it because she said I was dumb.
Ann: And you turned out smart. I'll get it.

On June 15, more than three dozen demonstrators gathered at a grocery store in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. The group, which included pierced teenagers in leather jackets, middle-aged computer professionals, and one feisty, sign-swinging 70-year-old woman, had gathered to protest the store's new loyalty-card program. For two hours, they handed out leaflets, and chanted “No Cards!” and “One Price for All!”.
