Dan
: Would you take 2,000 NT for three?
Boss: Mmm, 2,500 NT.
Dan: Deal. Hey, what about those lamps?
Boss: I make these, too. The skins are the same paper material.
Dan: They look much more sturdy than regular paper lamps.
Boss: You can put them outside. They won't get damaged. Here, have some tea while you look.
Dan: No, thanks. I don't want to take your time.
Boss: No problem. If you stay longer, you might buy more handicrafts!

Q: Does eating chocolate cause acne?
A: No. Overactive sebaceous glands, not candy bars, cause the blemishes that can embarrass adolescents and adults. Under normal conditions, the sebaceous glands produce sebum, an oily secretion that moistens and protects the skin. But these glands can produce too much sebum, usually as a result of hormonal changes or bacteria on the skin, and cause pimples. The fats that we absorb through our diet have no impact whatsoever on the oil glands themselves. If that were the case, people who had higher blood cholesterol or triglyceride levels would be more prone to acne, but they're not. But there may be something to the chocolate/acne myth. A small number of people do seem to have a pimplelike reaction to certain food groups, chocolate is one, but more commonly, nuts. Some of the thinking in the old days may have been related to the chocolate products that contained peanuts.
