In the studio audience
Wei: Wow, Jon Stewart looks even cuter in person.
Trev: But he looks kind of short, no?
Wei: I don't like how they have these big signs telling us when to laugh or not.
Trev: Me neither. But at least the show doesn't put on laugh tracks like a sitcom would.
Wei: What would happen if we started laughing at the wrong times?
Trev: Here, I'll try it now. [laughs hysterically; people turn around and stare at him]
Wei: Good work, Trev. At this rate, we might get thrown out of the theater.

★ in person 本人
★ sign (n.)
★ hysterically (adv.)
★ at this rate 照这样看来

To Americans, punctuality is a way of showing respect for other people's time. Being more than 10 minutes late to an appointment usually calls for an apology, and maybe an explanation. People who are running late often call ahead to let others know of the delay. Of course, the less formal the situation, the less important it is to be exactly on time. At informal get-togethers, for example, people often arrive as much as 30 minutes past the appointed time. But they usually don't try that at work.

I will be 25 next week.
We’ll know the result tomorrow.
Unless the taxi comes soon we’ll miss the plane.

I shall see Tom tomorrow这个句子中用 will代替 shall,就会变成 I will see Tom tomorrow。
I’ll be seeing Tom tomorrow.

Let’s go,shall we?
Shall we take a taxi?
What shall I do with your mail?
Where shall we be this time next year?
